The most important thing to remember when dealing with head or brain injuries is to immediately seek medical attention. The sooner an injury is diagnosed the sooner treatment and recovery can begin.

Signs Someone May Have A Serious Head Injury

  • Clear fluid or blood from the nose or ears
  • Problems with speech, vision and coordination
  • Confusion
  • Unusual behaviour
  • Headache
  • Vomiting
  • Seizures
  • Unconsciousness or sleepiness

In the event of any of these symptoms call 999.

Other Support

Many brain injuries have recovery times that vary in length dependent upon the overall severity of the injury and the impact it has upon a person with many symptoms potentially only being revealed over time.

As well as getting support from a personal injury specialist, you may also need assistance from other organisations to make sure your head or brain recovery is properly managed and supported for as long as you need it.
