Frequently Asked Questions

+ What is the difference between No Win No Fee services and Claim500 services?

We do not charge a penny for the services we provide. There have been many reported cases where people using No Win No Fee claims services have ended up with very little compensation even though they won their case. This is because their ‘No Fee’ only applies to the ‘No Win’ and those that win have had to pay large amounts of their compensation to the company who were supposed to help them. We do not charge you a penny – win or lose – and we’ll even give you £500 in addition to your compensation.

Your solicitor will provide their services to you on a Conditional Fee Agreement however unlike other solicitors ours will not charge you a fee in any circumstances unless you attempt to make a fraudulent claim.

+ What is the £500 offer?
If you are successful in your claim for compensation we will pay you an additional £500. You will automatically receive this from us after the conclusion of your case. To qualify for this offer you must sign and return your claim pack to your solicitor within 7 days from the date you receive it. We will tell you exactly how to do this – don’t worry it isn’t complicated and we’re always on hand to answer any questions.
If you refer somebody to us using our ‘refer a friend scheme’ you will only be entitled to the £250 if you satisfy all of the following requirements:

  • The person who has suffered the personal injury has given you their permission for us to contact them (we will check this when we speak to them),
  • The person you refer has not already contacted us about their injury,
  • The person you refer is not claiming compensation in connection with a road traffic accident,
  • The person you refer is successful in making their claim for compensation, and…
  • You can demonstrate that the person you refer is a friend or family member (and that you are not referring people as part of any business activity).

+ Are there any circumstances in which the £500 offer does not apply?
If any of the following circumstances apply we are not able to offer you the £500 in addition to your compensation:

  • Your claim relates to a road traffic accident
  • Your claim is for injuries suffered as a result of a criminal offence and your compensation is paid by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority
  • Your claim is fictitious or fraudulent.

+ Will I be charged a fee for your services?

We do not charge a penny for the services we provide. Our solicitors ensure that in the event you lose your case you are covered by insurance (taken out by and paid for by our solicitors at no cost to you). If you win your case our solicitors will claim their costs from the other side.

The only time we ever ask anybody to pay a fee to us if they deliberately provide us with false information in an attempt to make a claim for compensation that they’re not entitled to, or you don’t co-operate with reasonable requests made by your solicitor, or if you decide to withdraw your claim prior to its conclusion.   If this happens then we will charge the cost that we, and our solicitors, have incurred in providing services to you.

+ Who are your Panel Solicitors?
We have a number of highly experienced professional solicitors who specialise in helping people get the compensation they deserve. We will tell you exactly who is handling your case once we have discussed it with you in more detail.

+ Is there any paperwork to complete?
Once our solicitors have all of the details of your accident and injury they will send you confirmation of the information you have provided in the post and ask you to sign to confirm that it is correct. They will also ask you to sign to say that they can act for you in dealing with your claim. There aren’t any complicated forms or documents to complete. If you have any questions we are only a phone call away and we are always happy to help.

+ Will I have to appear in Court?
Most claims for compensation are settled without the need for the victim to go to Court. In some very limited circumstances it is necessary but if this were to happen your solicitor would help you every step of the way.

+ Can you guarantee that my claim will be successful?
No, and you shouldn’t believe anybody who tells you that you will definitely win your claim. We prefer to be honest from the outset and our solicitors will talk to you about the chances of your claim being successful. They are highly experienced in making claims for compensation and you can be assured that you have the very best chance of success.
